Scott spent many years at Dick Clark Productions, supervising the post-production for several Golden Globe Awards, American Music Awards, MTV Awards, and American Bandstand’s 40th Anniversary. Later in his career, Schwartz co-produced Nickelodeon’s The Secret World of Alex Mack for the Tom Lynch Company. Other notable credits include Season 1 of American Idol for Fremantle, Big Brother, and Paradise Hotel.
